Welcome to my blog!

As I write about my life, reflections, and challenges, I hope that it will all point to my God and Savior, the one who gave me life, saves me, and sustains me.

I’m Anna:

  • God has saved me through the shed blood of His Son, Jesus Christ, and I am forever grateful!
  • I met my husband through my blog. (Here’s our story.) We were married on April 11, 2009. I didn’t plan on finding myself a husband through blogging, but if I had known he was out there, maybe I would have started blogging sooner. ;-)

  • We have an adorable son named Christian Andrew, born February 9, 2010 (we didn’t waste any time!). We’re both completely taken with him. I get to stay home with him full-time and count myself very blessed to do so.

And a few more tidbits:

  • I’ve been blogging for almost 3 years, not counting my Xanga-ing days before that. I just can’t seem to stop!
  • In the past 5 years, I have lived in Ohio (where I was born), Illinois (freshman year of college), Michigan (sophomore through senior years), and Florida (to get married).
  • I am an obsessive list-maker. My husband is used to it now.
  • My absolute least favorite chore is cleaning the shower. But it looks so nice when it’s done.
  • I am a bookworm and have been ever since I learned how to read.
  • I’ve also been in love with writing since childhood. For now, blogging is my writing outlet.
