Baby Bump: 26 Weeks

26weeks

I broke down and took another pregnancy picture (who coined the phrase “baby bump”? I’m not sure I like it). Seeing as I haven’t shared one since nine weeks, I thought it was time. Smile

(I’ll attempt to share biweekly updates from now until I deliver, like Callie did during her pregnancy – I thought that was a good time frame.)

Size of baby: According to BabyCenter, about 1 2/3 pounds – the size of an English hothouse cucumber (as opposed to a regular, ordinary cucumber, I guess?).

Total weight gain/loss: Around 10 pounds gained.

Maternity clothes: I’m in them almost completely. I had to get a couple more new things this month, but I am set for the rest of my pregnancy, I think.

Movement: I love this part. A.J. was able to see her moving from the outside for the first time last week. She still moves quite a bit, especially when I’m sitting down, or after I eat.

Sleep: How I am enjoying these last few months of sleep before the overnight newborn marathon begins again. I finally added pillow #4 last week. From what I remember, I eventually added a fifth pillow behind my back last time. It gets a little crowded. Smile

What I miss: Guiltlessly lying flat on my back! Not worrying about separated stomach muscles and a high heart rate while I’m exercising.

Cravings: I haven’t had too many cravings over the past couple weeks. Pizza does sound good though.

Symptoms: Last week I had a lot of nausea and heartburn – fun! I had to refill my Zofran prescription and eat smaller meals more frequently. I’m feeling better this week without taking anything.

What I am looking forward to: My doctor’s appointment on Thursday, although I’m taking my one-hour glucose test, which isn’t fun… but that’s when they have you fill out all the labor and delivery paperwork, which makes it seem so real and close!

Milestone(s): None really… getting close to the third trimester!

Best moment this week: Christian pointing to my belly when I ask, “Where’s your sister?” Smile

Wow, time is flying! Aww Christian is so cute :)

(I ran out of my Zofran and I almost had a panic attack, I just like knowing its available if needed :P )

I know what you mean! :-) When I called to ask for my refill last time, I wasn’t getting sick but it was going into the weekend and I told them I wanted to have it just in case. They were so nice about it!

You are seriously SO cute. If this is what exercising while pregnant does for you, SIGN ME UP. I mean, not now. Because I’m not pregnant. But when I do become pregnant again, SIGN ME UP.

Just had to clarify. ;)

Isn’t it just so precious when the other siblings really starts to understand there’s *something* in the belly? Q would give my belly kisses and it just melted me.

Is it just me or is time flying? Dumb question, I know. :)

You make me laugh! Thanks for the NON-pregnant clarification. Let’s be honest: I exercise partly so I can feel less guilty when I eat Skittles. :-P

Christian gives my belly kisses too. Big slobbery ones that eventually turn into little nibbles and then full-out bites. So I’m a little skittish about that now. Haha!

Well, you weren’t the first one to say that time is flying. :-) This pregnancy is going more quickly than my first for me, but isn’t it amazing how quickly other women’s pregnancies seem to go? :-)

You look great!

Oh my goodness, Anna, you look amazing! So tiny for being so far along! I love reading these updates – I think it’s adorable that Christian points to your stomach when you ask where his sister is! Precious.

Oh the lovely Zofran! It has been my best friend this time around too! You look wonderful!

You look amazing! Can’t wait to see Tabitha! ;)

I loved how they start recognizing the baby in the belly, it’s so fun!! The wet, slobbery kisses, and my boys even flubbered my belly, too. So fun!!

Anna, you look wonderful! And I love that Christian points to your belly! Noah has no idea about baby brother (no matter how I try to help him understand) :)

You’re pregnant?!?! How did I miss this? I’m so excited for you; congratulations!!! :-D

Awe,I remember those days. My youngest baby going to be turning 11 soon. You are such a cute preggy mom and a healthy one too. I loved the reactions of older siblings when I was expecting. Such good memories!
