Trying not to be jealous…
The Relevant Conference is beginning.

“We support women turning their hearts toward home and using their blogs to bless their families while also engaging the world for the glory of God. Relevant is a one-of-a-kind conference that seeks to engage women by teaching blogging techniques and social media skill while also urging and encouraging women to live fully integrated lives with their faith and family.”
It’s the first year, and I would love to be there, hear the amazing speakers, and meet so many lovely bloggers I’ve followed, some of whom may or may not know I exist…
Sarah Mae from Like a Warm Cup of Coffee…
Jessica from Muthering Heights…
Ann from A Holy Experience…
Crystal from Money Saving Mom…
Courtney from Women Living Well…
Kat from Inspired to Action…
Traci from Ordinary Inspirations…
Lindsay from Passionate Homemaking…
and many who I haven’t followed but would like to meet.
Oh well, at least I might be able to watch a few of the keynotes, and follow the action on Twitter.
Do I sound like enough of a nerd yet?
I’ll follow you if you do!
Oh, I hadn’t heard of this, but it sounds wonderful! Now I really want to go too – rats.
I want to sponsor myself and all my blog friends to go next year!
I don’t think that’s nerdy!
Hi Anna! Thank you for stopping by my blog. It is always fun to meet someone new through each others sites. Your little boy is precious. Though I am not married and do not have any children right now, just reading your posts and seeing such a sweet little face reminds me of what I have to look forward to. You and your husband picked such a sweet name for him, too! It is actually on the top of my name list (yes, I do already have one of those).
You have some really great posts. I look forward to coming by more.
Thanks, Paige! I’m glad you came by.
I know, me too! It’s not even that far away from me at all! Wish I was there!
I think it is normal (not nerdy) to want to do/attend things like these.
I’d love to; but, I cannot for the most part. I get extremely uncomfortable or insecure around strangers. I would get to the point where I am not enjoying myself because I’m stressing over this and that. As a result, I wouldn’t get any benefit from attending.
At the very least, I can follow the action on twitter if I desire to.
I think it is normal in the blogosphere, but not necessarily viewed as normal among people who don’t blog.
I am sorry about your stranger anxiety. I can relate to feeling insecure, but not paralyzingly so. Ann Voskamp at A Holy Experience has written about some of her struggles with the same thing.

This conference JUST MIGHT push me over the edge to get a twitter account!
Such amazing women speaking!!!
