Links for Homemaking Help

I just wanted to share some of the practical resources and convicting inspiration that have really helped me! Having a basic routine, priorities, and plan mapped out is so important for me. And being reminded of the importance of my calling makes all the difference.
From Simple Mom:
From Women Living Well:
- Managing Our Time, Family, and Home
- Mundane Tasks Are a Hidden Treasure
- Embrace Homemaking – Be Busy at Home
From Passionate Homemaking:
- Establishing a Morning Routine – Maximize Your Mornings
- Get a Chef, a Maid, and a Nanny by Creating Effective Routines
- Building a Home Planning Notebook
Now to put these words into practice… take a deep breath, stand up, leave the computer behind, and get to work! Who’s with me?
Anna, you may like the website I stumbled on a while ago: flylady.net . It’s a decluttering/housekeeping website that emphasizes simplicity and routines, and the woman that runs it is a sweet southern gem.
It’s a great foundation for newbie homemakers like me – and has helped me get myself together without being overwhelming!
I should mention, if you or any of your other readers who may skim this comment check out the site, that it’s not a Christian website per se, but the “Fly Lady” is, and her housekeeping doctrine never contradicts anything in the Word. I’m looking forward to checking out the links you posted more thoroughly – I love homemaking advice!
I have heard of Fly Lady and know a lot of people who love her! Her systems didn’t work for me, but I do like some of her concepts a lot.
Thanks so much for all these awesome links Anna! Not only do they offer great advice but also have introduced me to some great new blogs!:) I love this line from Woman Living Well:
“But on the opposing side, please do not neglect your home believing that there is something greater and with more meaning outside the doors of your home.”
This is so true and yet how often so many buy into the notion that there is something so much greater and glorious to accomplish beyond the walls of their home!:)

Thanks for all these links! I really need to focus on this, so I appreciate the timing of this series of yours.
