I’ve left the land of beautiful autumns (Ohio and Michigan) and now reside in the hot and humid environs of Florida. So I’m not exactly able to enjoy the leaves changing colors and drifting gently to the ground in a dazzling autumnal array. But I am enjoying fall nonetheless, especially over the past few days, which have been significantly cooler. (We even turned on the heat for an hour yesterday.) And I still drink hot apple cider, and I’m making pumpkin bread in a few minutes.
What is your favorite part of fall?

Well, I’ve never been a huge apple cider fan so I go straight for the hot chocolate! With marshmallows please?! Bonfires at church, Thanksgiving and pumpkin cheesecake…oh yum!
I really like the essence of fall – the way people decorate their homes, the way certain foods are associated with it, and the beautiful leaves.
Ooh, I love bonfires too! And decorating! I went to a bonfire on Saturday and made a fall centerpiece for the table today. So much fun. (If anyone’s doing late fall decorating, Hobby Lobby has tons of things for 50% off right now.)
Oh, goodness, the whole thing! Fall is my favorite season, for sure.
The delicious smell of baking, the amazing colors of the leaves, the crisp cool air, and the way the atmosphere makes everything look clearer and brighter.
(You should post a pic of your centerpiece.)
