Josh wanted me to share this story. For our 3rd year anniversary we went to Gatlinburg, TN for a few days vacation. I was still in my first trimester and on the trip I got my first big dose of morning sickness and throwing up. We went to a really nice place to eat and ALL I felt like eating was a baked potatoes. Every else sounded awful. I also couldn't walk around to enjoy the sites so we spent most of the time driving around in the car. Good memories!

Steph, I was hungry like that for about weeks 2-4 (although I didn't know I was pregnant). My husband was wondering what was wrong with me since I was eating as much as he was! However I've lost about 8 pounds since then. :-)

Thanks KO, Lindsay and Emily!!

Aww Anna, that does not sound nice! But I pray that God will continue to look after you and your little one as you go through this very unique and precious season. And how exciting that you got to see your baby on the ultrasound! I am so, so happy for you :)

My first trimester passed with me eating like a horse. I would literally get up 1 -2 times a night feeling hungry, and have to eat something or I'd feel sick. I gained a healthy amount of weight, but I felt gigantic - I always carried a couple of granola bars with me, even if I was just running out to the store! So I don't share your particular "pregnancy sickness" but I definitely understand the pressure of keeping track of every movement in your life. It's good practice for motherhood to be so prepared and aware of what you're doing and how you're feeling! (And isn't the first ultrasound the most AMAZING thing??) :)
