I’ll bet that childhood love of/craving for reading will come back to you at some point. You just need a little distance from the years of assignments.

“The Kite Runner” is an amazing book! It’s a painful read though, so be warned – some parts are graphic and others are just overwhelmingly heartbreaking. But despite all that, it’s an absolutely worthwhile read – I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Great post! I just finished reading Radical Womanhood a few weeks ago. I met Carolyn McCulley at the Desiring God conference, and she signed my copy! I was very excited.
I will have to look into the other books you mentioned… they sound good.

Amen to that! I have made a reading schedule for myself until March next year, and really have to discipline myself to stick to it otherwise I keep getting behind – and I love reading too!
