God Our Savior

Two amazing Scriptures I read today (of course, it’s all amazing! :-) ):

“Do not remember against us our former iniquities;
let Your compassion come speedily to meet us,
for we are brought very low.
Help us, O God of our salvation,
for the glory of Your name;
deliver us, and atone for our sins,
for Your name’s sake!”

(Psalm 79:9-10)

“Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Christ Jesus, for the sake of the faith of God’s elect and their knowledge of the truth, which accords with godliness, in hope of eternal life, which God, who never lies, promised before the ages began and at the proper time manifested in His word through the preaching with which I have been entrusted by the command of God our Savior”

(Titus 1:1-3)

  1. Those were beautiful, Anna. (and yes, they are all beautiful! :))
    I especially loved how they related: God our salvation, and God our Savior.

    Simply amazing.

  2. Hi anna - I love when people find awesome scriptures to share! Thank you! I’ve got a question for you..how on earth do you do personal devotionals? People have given me books and papers and whatnots and it doesnt feel like a very spiritual experiiance to just sit and read them.. is there a way to do it? What do you do?

  3. Hey Courtney, I will e-mail you so I don’t write a loooong comment. :-)

  4. That verse in Titus 1:1-3 has been very precious to me many times. It is worth reading over and over again. Very awesome passages. Thank you and God bless.
