Signs of Spring

thunderstorms in the forecast.
an open window.
the possibility of wearing a skirt.
frosty at sunrise, warm by noon.
smiles all around campus.
using my umbrella, ella, ella…
raindrops on the windshield.
hanging up my wool coat.
goodbye, March.
the world is a little greener.
neglected snow boots.
hope.

ps- the best part is about the umbrella…love that song!
Brilliant, Anna

Love the poem and especially this line: “using my umbrella, ella, ella…” Creative and cute! We’ve had a few spring days lately in NYC and I can’t wait either to have them here for good!
