Coming Next Week
Monday: The fifth installment of the Soul Sisters series
Tuesday: A confession
Wednesday: Entry on the persecuted church
Thursday: Yet another Young Woman to Watch; someone I’ve really enjoyed the last few weeks
Friday: Various and Sundry; some great things I’ve read around the Web lately
Also, last week the ESV Personal Size Reference Bible was finally released. I’ve been waiting for it to come out for a really long time. I ordered it and it should be here sometime this coming week, so I’ll probably do a post about that.
See you back here Monday!

You might be interested in this review of the ESV Personal Reference Bible.

Thanks for pointing to that review, Jacob! Very detailed and interesting… I’m looking forward to getting mine even more now.
looking forward to next week! cheeeers!!
You’re so organized in your blogging! Good for you! Looking forward to your posts this coming week!:)
Oh man, I love personal editions of Bibles.
Mine is the Thompson Chain Referenced NKJV. I don’t know how personal it is since it is 8×5 and 2 inches thick but that is neither here nor there.
You’re welcome. The blog’s author, Mark Bertrand, pitched the idea of the ESV Journaling Bible (which I use and am very satisfied with) to Crossway (who published his own book, Rethinking Worldview). It’s a good blog to follow if you’re at all interested in Bible binding, layout and design.
Could you do a post sometime (or have you?) on the ESV translation and why you prefer it? I’m curious.
Kaylene, that’s a great post idea. I would like to do that soon.
I also ordered one in leather, but first I decided to give away or sell 7 of the 9 Bibles I already had. My goal is two — my ESV classic ref hardcover to stay within an arms reach of the dinner table, one to take everywhere else.
